BCS Stats unveils its newest service, StatBroadcast for Mobile and Web

TEMPE, ARIZ. -- BCS Stats Systems officially unveiled its newest service for collegiate athletic teams and events, StatBroadcast, which is available on both the mobile and web platforms. Operating on the same framework as its highly acclaimed StatMonitr system, StatBroadcast Mobile gives college sports fans attending events an entirely new experience, as they can now access a live stream of an event's stats from their mobile phones while in attendance. The StatBroadcast service is currently being offered free of charge to both fans and the sporting events who are providing them, through embedded sponsorship opportunities.

"I am extremely excited to offer this new opportunity for our partners to enhance their fans' experience," said president Nate Policar. "As well, through our sponsor-supported revenue sharing models, we can not only offer this to fans and universities for free, but hopefully help generate revenues for these universities as well."

The StatBroadcast Mobile service is one of the first in the nation to offer live streaming stats to all mobile phone platforms. Using mobile web technologies, StatBroadcast Mobile is immediately available on a mobile device without a download or additional subscription fee. It is supported on the most popular phone providers, including iPhone/iPad, Blackberry and Android.

BCS Stats also unveiled its StatBroadcast Web service, which is a new way to provide live stats to fans through a web browser, using the same real-time framework powering the StatMonitr service. Through this service, fans have instant access to the same level of statistical detail that the sports media, broadcasters and coaches have at their fingertips.

BCS Stats currently offers its StatBroadcast service for college football, basketball, baseball and volleyball, with development for additional olympic sports planned for this fall.
